A quick picture of the sanctuary when we first walked through the building. We are so grateful to the many parishioners who took the time (and those heavy pews) to clean up the church prior to closing.
That is the term coined by my youngest daughter when I told her I was quitting my job, moving to Wisconsin to start a new life and live in an old church.
I am old enough to realize a paycheck is just that, and spending time around family and living a less stressed life is more important to me right now.
This may turn out to be a questionable decision, but for now I am looking forward to a new adventure and a new creative endeavor for the new year.
