Our Story

There comes a point in your life when it is just time to 'move on'.  We have talked about wanting to live in a church or a school and as luck would have it, we were able to purchase 2 acres with an 1880's Church and a one room schoolhouse, nestled in Pepin County, Wisconsin.  Just a stones throw from the birthplace of Laura Ingalls Wilder. We closed on the property December 29, 2017 and moved in mid February of 2018.

Meet Debra & Ricky

We met each other in Vincennes Indiana.  We both belonged to The Spirit of Vincennes-Rendezvous. We kept bumping into each other at local city events and on First Friday Art walks.  It took Ricky a year to muster up enough courage to ask me out....the rest (as they say) is history.
