This property has been a part of the surrounding community for over 130 years.  People have questions, here to the best of our ability are the answers.

What about the cemetery?

The cemetery is not owned by Little Plum Place.  The Little Plum Lutheran Church board that remains will be responsible for its care and upkeep until a future date.  Better than creating an eyesore of a privacy fence, we will be relocating day lilies from the south side of the church to the property line of the cemetery (with the approval of the Church board).  We also discovered that this is one of two local cemeteries with the same name.  For future reference, this cemetery will be known as "Little Plum Lutheran Cemetery".  Little Plum Cemetery, managed by the township of Frankfort is only a mile away.  A copy of the Little Plum Lutheran burial records can be found at the Durand Courthouse Museum.  Families researching Little Plum-Frankfort Town cemetery can find burial records on line at: http://townoffrankfort.tripod.com/id15.html

Are you ever going to host events?

Probably.  Ample parking, a large family reunion in July and those who want to have an intimate wedding at a country setting.  The future will tell.

How do we contact you?

We have a land line:  715-442-2295.  For friends and family with my cell number, it does still work, only when I am out and about away from Little Plum Valley.  You can reach me at my private email or at Debra@littleplumplace.org.
