This old oak tree sits at the back of the property, next to the cemetery.  It has such great character.  As winter passed into spring and Ricky and I waited for the world to make sense, we watched our tree blossom.  A clear reminder that the bleak days we have endured during the pandemic will hopefully at some point in the future come to a close.

Summer is finally here.  The weather has been great, allowing for many hours spent outside enjoying the sunshine, fresh air and new growth in the Little Plum Valley.  In two short months our burly oak has pushed forth its coat of leaves.  It is simply glorious.
