Today I took a few moments away from building the kitchen counter to snap a few photos.  The bathrooms are in good shape and other than a few ‘finishing’ touches and trims are ready for use.  With the addition of the washer and dryer Little Plum Place is starting to feel more like home.

“Ladies” room.

This is the original state of the “ladies” room.  The vanity has been re-purposed in the upstairs bathroom and the mirror now hangs in the wash room. After a complete demo and reworking of some of the plumbing this room has become our master shower/commode area.  We replaced the partition wall with a 2X4 stub wall, added a new light and tile

Every time I get discouraged about a project I take a look at these pictures to reassure me that all is well and things are moving ahead.  Some days Rick and I move faster than others.

The “Men’s room renovation began with removing the wallpaper boarder.  Not that I don’t like the great outdoors or Elk for that matter, just not our taste for a wash room.  This room houses the washer and dryer, and our guest powder room.  I still have base board and door trim to attach but I am pleased with the finished product.

Love those elk!
