Santa did not call, but we are cancelling our Christmas at Little Plum program. A lack of interest from local children, the bu
sy holiday season, possible snow and the lack of enthusiasm from my man Rick, it was prudent to pull the plug on this project. I am a bit sad. I think it important to give a nod to the Swedish immigrants who built the church we now call home. It isn’t often that a school turns 120 years old and the church 140. Rest assured I will still trim the Christmas tree in the sanctuary and sing a tune on Christmas morning to commemorate the occasion.
