Yes, I know it is not quite the 4th of July.  Ricky and I have been busy with a multitude of projects.  Here at Little Plum Place the fun is never ending and as soon as one item is finished on the list another appears.  In the past two weeks we have managed to attach a new sign to the school, clearly identifying it to passer-byes.

The 95 year old wood shed, that sits behind the schoolhouse has a new steel roof.  After months of deliberation (I wanted shingles to match the schoolhouse) I caved to Ricky’s wishes and agreed to a black steel roof.  I have to admit that it did make the task go quicker.  Daddy Brian, Ricky and I finished the project in two short work days.  (Short due to the fact that none of us is getting any younger).

A quick clean and we will be ready to host our 4th of July weekend open house.  Port-a-potty ordered along with some wonderful weather. We will be open Friday July 3rd from Noon to 5:00 p.m.  Saturday July 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday July 5th from Noon to 5:00 p.m.  If you feel like getting out of the house and doing something different, please join us.  If you have any questions give us a call 715-442-2295.
